Mischausgabe (Erster Band als Nachdruck der Dubochet-Ausgabe durch Garnier und zweiter Band in 2. Auflage des Erstdruckes bei Dubochet). Vicaire II, 156 und 157. Französischsprachige Ausgabe. Umfassend mit Textholzstichen illustriert nach Tony Johannot. Einband etwas berieben, gering lichtrandig und an den Ecken leicht bestoßen. Seiten minimal gebräunt und fast durchweg blass stockfleckig. Insgesamt gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar.
Contemporary half-leather bindings on four raised bands with gilt and black-tooled fillets and ornaments on the spine, marbled boards, and red sprinkled edges. Mixed edition (first volume is a reprint of the Dubochet edition by Garnier, and the second volume is the second printing of the first edition by Dubochet). Vicaire II, 156 and 157. French-language edition. Extensively illustrated with text wood engravings after Tony Johannot. Bindings slightly rubbed, minor sunning to edges, and corners lightly bumped. Pages faintly tanned with occasional pale foxing throughout. Overall, a good to very good copy.
