Original-Halbleinenmappe mit Titelschildchen und Schließbändern. Emile Alain Seguy, 1877-1951, war ein bedeutender französischer Künstler des Art Deco.

[Erste Ausgabe.] Französischsprachige Ausgabe. Von Christian Stoll übernommen, alte Verlagsangabe durch Schildchen von Christian Stoll überklebt. Mit 61 Entwürfen für Stoffe und Teppiche im Art Deco-Stil auf 20 pochoirkolorierten Lithografietafeln. Rücken der Mappe fachgerecht restauriert. Mappe fleckig, Innendeckel mit Besitzerstempeln. Blätter gebräunt, leicht fleckig, jeweils am Rand mit kleinen Einrissen sowie (außerhalb der Illustrationen) und rückseitig mit Stempeln der Firma Studio H. Stangenberg und der „Norddeutsche Tapetenfabrik Hölscher & Breimer“, Hannover-Langenhagen. Gutes Exemplar, die Pochoirs in leuchtendem Kolorit. [First edition.] French language edition. Issue was overtaken from publisher Christian Stoll, former publisher house imprint covered with his sticker. With 61 art deco illustrations for fabrics and carpets on 20 lithographed plates in poichoir print. Title page and 20 loose sheets in original half cloth folder (height 45,5 cm). The back of the folder professionally restored, cover spotted, inner cover with owner stamps. Sheets lightly darkened, lightly spotted, some edges with small tears and owner stamps outside of the illustrations and on the back of the sheets. Good copy, the colours appear very vibrant.
