Nummer 474 von 800 Exemplaren des Faksimiledrucks der Apokalypse aus der Zerbster Prunkbibel (″Cranachbibel“) nach der Übersetzung von Martin Luther, gedruckt im Jahre 1541 von Hans Lufft in Wittenberg mit kolorierten Holzschnitten versehen durch die Werkstatt Lucas Cranach d.J. Mit 26 Mniaturen in Farbe und goldgehöht und Schmuckinitialen. Einband etwas berieben, ansonsten sehr gutes Exemplar.
Original leather binding in the original card slipcase. Number 474 of 800 copies of the facsimile edition of the Apocalypse from the Zerbster Prunkbibel (“Cranach Bible”), based on Martin Luther’s translation, printed in 1541 by Hans Lufft in Wittenberg and illustrated with coloured woodcuts from the workshop of Lucas Cranach the Younger. With 26 colour miniatures heightened in gold and decorative initials. Binding slightly rubbed, otherwise fine copy.
