Mit allegorischem Kupfertitel nach Theodoor van Loon durch Cornelis Galle, einigen Holzschnittinitialen und Druckermarke in Holzschnitt auf dem letzten Blatt. Einband nur leicht berieben. Vorderer Vorsatz mit unschönem Fleck und Schabstelle. Seiten leicht gebräunt, vereinzelt mininal stockfleckig. Gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar.
Contemporary vellum binding with floral decoration to the spine, manuscript spine title in an early hand, gilt supralibros on the front cover, and all edges gilt. Second edition. Kelso, English Gentleman, 580. With an allegorical engraved title after Theodoor van Loon by Cornelis Galle, several woodcut initials, and a woodcut printer’s device on the final leaf. Binding only lightly rubbed. Front endpaper with an unsightly stain and an abrasion. Pages slightly darkened, occasionally minimally foxed. A near fine copy.
