Original-Miniatur auf Pergament, den Heiligen Laurentius mit Buch und Märtyrerpalme darstellend, wohl um 1500. Rückseitig mit handschriftlichen Notenlinien und Text in Latein, mit dem Teil (Quia accusatus) „non negam no“(men) zum Fest des Laurentius. Sehr fein gearbeitete Miniatur, mit goldgehöhter Initiale Q mit feinsten Details. Gerahmt im vergoldeten Holzrahmen. Provenienz: Aus der Sammlung der Galleristen/Antiquarin Ruth Maria Muthmann, Düsseldorf. Maße Blatt/Abbildung: 9,1 x 9,1 cm. Rückseitig leichte Montagespuren im Rahmen. Sehr gutes Exemplar.
Original miniature on parchment, depicting Saint Laurentius with book and martyr’s palm, probably around 1500. Verso with handwritten staves and text in Latin, with the part (Quia accusatus) „non negam no“(men) for the feast of Laurentius. Very finely crafted miniature, with gold heightened initial Q with the finest details. Framed in a gilded wooden frame. Provenance: From the collection of the gallery owner/antiquarian Ruth Maria Muthmann, Düsseldorf. Dimensions sheet/illustration: 9.1 x 9.1 cm. Slight traces of mounting in the frame on the reverse. Very good copy.
