Einbände berieben und stellenweise etwas beschabt, Schnitt berieben, Ecken bestoßen, Name von alter Hand in Tinte auf Titelblatt, Seiten stellenweise leicht fleckig, die ersten und letzten Blatt in den Stegen etwas leimschattig, Seite 241/242 des zweiten Bandes mit schmaler Randfehlstelle (ca. 4 x 0,5 cm), ansonsten gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar. Second edition, corrected. English language edition. Professionally restored leather bindings in the style of the period with gilt embossed title on spine, fillets and gilt embossed edge decoration. Bindings rubbed and partially chipped, edges rubbed, corners bumped, old name inscription in ink on title pages, first and last pages margins a bit glue-shaded, pages partially with light foxing, pages 241/242 of volume two with small defect to the margin (about 4 x 0,5 cm, text not affected), otherwise near fine copy.
