Ausgabe in Altgriechisch, das Vorwort in Latein. Titelblatt mit Namenseintrag des Schottischen Geistlichen Thomas Pitcairn, datiert 1835. Einband fleckig, Bezugspapier an einer Stelle etwas abgelöst. Innendeckel mit einem eingeklebten Zeitungsausschnitt in Englisch (3,5 x 7 cm). Ein Element der Titelvignette mit brauner Tinte ausgemalt. Vorsätze, eine Vakatseite, Titelblatt, sowie die letzte Textseite stärker gebräunt, sonst nur wenige Blätter etwas gebräunt. Blätter etwas fleckig. Ca. 100 Textseiten mit Einträgen, Marginalien mit Bleistift. Ein Fußsteg mit kleinem Ausriss (ca. 1 x 3 cm), 19 Blattränder jeweils mit kleinem Einriss. Gutes Exemplar. Edition in Ancient Greek, the editors note in Latin. Title page with the name inscription of Thomas Pitcairn, dated 1835, a Presbyterian minister and Clerk of the Free Church of Scotland. Half vellum binding with gilt embossed title on spine and red cut edges. Vellum spotted, cover paper detached in one area. Inner cover with a mounted newspaper text in English (appr. 3,5 x 7 cm). One small part of the title vignette coloured with brown ink. Endpapers, one empty sheet, title page and the last text page significantly darkened, otherwise only a few sheets lightly darkened. Sheets spotted. Appr. 100 pages with notes and marginalia with pencil. One lower margin with a small missing part (appr. 1 x 3 cm), 19 margins each with a small tear. Good copy.
