Einbände deutlich fleckig, Rückenbezug brüchig, Außenfalze mit kleinen Einrissen, Schnitte gebräunt. Vortitel jeweils mit einem Blindstempel des „Cercle Hutois des Sciences et Beaux-Arts“. Innenfalz des vorderen Vorsatzes und des Vortitels mit etwas Wurmfraß, Innenfalze der Karte und des Titelblatts nur noch minimalst betroffen (unter 1 mm), hinterer Innenfalz mit größerem Loch (ca. 2 cm). Innenstege in Band 2 durchgehend von Seite 41 bis Seite 433 mit etwas Wurmfraß (keine Textberührung), Tafeln nicht betroffen. Blätter allgemein wenig bis leicht fleckig, unbeschnittene Blattränder teils stärker fingerfleckig, stockfleckig, wenig schmutzfleckig. Gute bis sehr gute Exemplare. First edition. 2 volumes. Covers significantly spotted, spine flaky, outer folds with small tears, cut edges darkened. Half titles each with a blind embossed seal by the „Cercle Hutois des Sciences et Beaux-Arts“. Inner folds of the endpapers and the half title in volume 1 with worm holes, inner folds of the first plate and the title page only with tiny worm holes (under 1 mm), inner fold in the back with one larger hole (appr. 2 cm). Inner folds in volume 2 from page 41 to 433 with worm holes (outside the text field), no worm holes on the plates. Sheets overall slightly to lightly spotted, uncut edges partly stronger fingerstained, foxy, some a bit dirty. Nearly fine copies.
