With many plates, bound to the spine. Original full leather binding with gilt embossed title on spine and cover, cover illustrations, gilt cut edges, decorative brass edging and intact brass clasps. Cover significantly rubbed at the outer folds as well as at the upper and lower spine, outer folds with longer tears (up to 7 cm). Endpapers rubbed, partly foxy. Frontispiece with one tear at the margin. Sheets partly lightly foxy. Nearly fine copy.
