1. Auflage. Brunet II, 1246. Graesse II, 576. Cicognara 3722. Italienischsprachige Ausgabe. Mit 4 Initialen, 28 Kupfern im Text und 40 (mehrfach gefalteten) Kupfertafeln. Hier ohne das Frontispiz. Einband berieben, an den Kanten deutlich berieben, Pergament gedunkelt. Vorderer Innenfalz mit Einriss. Erstes vakates Blatt verso mit Preiseintrag, Titelblatt mit kleiner Jahresangabe, beides mit blauem Kugelschreiber. Blätter etwas fleckig, braunfleckig. Außensteg einiger Blätter mit Wasserfleck. Eine Falttafel (Ex Museo Guarnaccio) im Falz mit größeren Einrissen, dort knitterig und fleckig. Letztes vakates Blatt mit Randeinriss. Gutes Exemplar. First edition. Brunet II, 1246. Half vellum binding with gilt embossed title on black leather label on spine, marbled cover paper and red cut edges. Cover rubbed, significantly rubbed at the outer margins, vellum darkened. Inner fold in the front with a tear. First empty sheet verso with a price inscription, title page with the note of the publishing year, both inscriptions with blue ballpoint pen. Sheets partly spotted, foxy. Margins of some sheets with waterstains. One folded plate (Ex Museo Guarnaccio) with bigger tears at the fold, crinkled and spotted at the fold. Last empty sheet with one tear at the lower margin. Good copy.
