Nummer 4 von 150 Exemplaren der Vorzugsausgabe (Gesamtauflage: 650 Exemplare). Mit 47 Original-Holzschnitten von Walter Klemm, davon 22 in Blei vom Künstler monogrammiert und 25 Textholzschnitte. Handeinband H. Fikentscher in Leipzig. Gedruckt in der alten Drugulin-Fraktur in der Offizin W. Drugulin in Leipzig. Einband blass fleckig, etwas berieben und Kanten stellenweise beschabt. Vorderer Außenfalz etwas angeplatzt (ca. 10 cm). Vorsätze und die ersten und letzten Blätter in den Rändern etwas leimschattig. Schnitt gebräunt, Seiten nur minimal gedunkelt. Im Ganzen gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar mit Holzschnitten in schönen, kräftigen Abdrucken.
Original hand-binding in full leather with 7 raised bands, blind-stamped spine and cover title, blind-stamped fox illustration on the cover, blind-stamped spine and cover fillets and gilt top edge. Number 4 of 150 copies of the special edition (total edition: 650 copies). With 47 original woodcuts by Walter Klemm, 22 of them monogrammed in pencil by the artist and 25 text woodcuts. Hand bound by H. Fikentscher in Leipzig. Printed in the old Drugulin black letter by W. Drugulin in Leipzig. Binding faintly stained, a bit rubbed and edges scuffed in places. Front joint slightly split (approx. 10 cm). Margins of endpapers and first and last leaves a bit shaded with glue. Darkened edges, pages only minimally darkened. Overall a near fine copy with woodcuts in beautiful, strong impressions.
