Erste Ausgabe. Englischsprachige Ausgabe. Mit 20 ganseitigen und nummerierten Mezzotinto-Tafeln in Sepia durch Richard Earlom nach Claude le Lorrain. Einband berieben, Lederbezüge des Einbandes stellenweise mit Fehlstellen. Außengelenke aufgeplatzt, Vorderdeckel gelockert, Bindung jedoch fest. Seiten blass stockfleckig. Die Mezzotintos in schönen, klaren Abdrucken erhalten. Außen beanspruchtes, ansonsten gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar.

With 20 full-page, numbered mezzotint plates in sepia by Richard Earlom after Claude Lorrain. Binding rubbed, leather on the spine and corners with some losses. Outer joints split, front cover loosened but binding still firm. Pages lightly foxed. The mezzotints preserved in fine, clear impressions. Externally worn, otherwise a good to very good copy.
