LVI, 786 Seiten. Lederband der Zeit mit reicher, floraler Rückenvergoldung, goldgeprägtem Supralibros und mit marmoriertem Schnitt.

Zweite Auflage. Mit 9 Falttafeln und einem kolorierten Faltplan. Einband berieben und mit winzigen Fehlstellen im Lederbezug. Mit Besitzvermerken in Tinte auf Vorsatz. Seiten leicht gebräunt und stellenweise leicht stockfleckig. Zwei der Falttafeln mit Einrissen im Falz (leichter Textverlust), Tafeln ansonsten zum Teil in den Rändern gebräunt bzw. etwas stockfleckig. Insgesamt gutes Exemplar.
Leather binding of the time with rich floral gilt decoration on the spine, gilt supralibros, and marbled edges. Second edition. With 9 folding plates and a hand-coloured folding map. Binding rubbed with minor imperfections to the leather. Ownership inscriptions in ink on the front endpaper. Pages slightly darkened and occasionally mildly foxed. Two of the folding plates with tears along the folds (minor loss of text), the remaining plates partly darkened or lightly foxed at the margins. Overall a good copy.
