Mit 16 ganzseitigen Miniaturen in Farbe und goldgehöht, 12 Kalenderzierblättern in Farbe und goldgehöht, zahlreichen kleineren Miniaturen (7-zeilig), Initialseiten und Zierleisten, in Farbe und goldgehöht, und unzähligen kleineren Goldinitialen auf Farbgrund. Buchschmuck durch den flämischen Maler Simon Bening. 2) The Master of Petrarca Book of Hours (Liber Horarum Rothomagensis). Mit 13 ganzseitigen Miniaturen, goldgehöht und in Farbe, mit Goldrand, 15 Zierseiten mit Schmuckinitiale, floralem Zierrahmen auf Goldgrund und jede weitere Seite mit Zierleiste im Außensteg mit floralen, faunistischen und menschlichen Motiven. 3) Book of Hours of Hipolita de Aragon-Sforza. Mit 3 ganzseitigen und 24 etwa halbseitigen Miniaturen in Farbe und goldgehöht, 43 Randbordüren mit grotesteken Wesen (die Bordüren oft in Verbindung mit den Miniaturen) und unzähligen kleinen Schmuckinitialen in Gold, Rot und Blau. Buchschmuck von Jean Bourdichon. 4) Villasenor Sebastian, Ferdinand: Coleccion Montserrat. Die Stundenbücher der Biblioteca de l’Abadia de Montserrat. Bibliophile Ausgabe in Samt. 5) Dasselbe. Beigelegt sind wie üblich ein Schutztuch, das den Büchern in der Truhe aufliegt, und ein Paar Handschuhe. Neuwertiges Exemplar, der Pappband zudem noch originalverschweißt.

Facsimiles: Original velvet bindings with richly decorated, gilt metal plates mounted on the boards and full gilt edges, housed together in the original elmwood chest with a metal edition plaque mounted to the inside of the lid. Commentary volumes: burgundy velvet binding with gilt spine and cover titles and gilt cover decoration with heraldic fleurs-de-lis, respectively illustrated original paper binding. Complete facsimiles of MSS 53, 66 and 851, number 201 of 400 copies of the total edition. The facsimiles are in Latin, the commentary volumes in German. The Montserrat Collection comprises the following facsimile volumes with accompanying commentary volumes: 1) The Munich Montserrat Book of Hours, with 16 full-page miniatures in colour and heightened with gold, 12 calendar leaves decorated in colour and gold, numerous smaller miniatures (7-line height), decorated pages with decorated initials and border ornamentation in colour and gold, and countless small gold initials on coloured grounds, illumination by the Flemish painter Simon Bening. 2) The Master of Petrarca, Book of Hours (Liber Horarum Rothomagensis), with 13 full-page miniatures in colour and heightened with gold, each within a gold border, 15 decorated initial pages with floral frames on gold grounds, and all remaining pages with an outer-margin border featuring floral, faunal and human motifs. 3) Book of Hours of Hipolita de Aragon-Sforza, with 3 full-page and 24 approximately half-page miniatures in colour and heightened with gold, 43 marginal borders with grotesque creatures, the borders often related to the miniatures, and innumerable small decorative initials in gold, red and blue, illumination by Jean Bourdichon; Villasenor Sebastian, Ferdinand, Colección Montserrat. The Books of Hours of the Biblioteca de l’Abadia de Montserrat, bibliophile edition in velvet; the same, standard edition in paper covers. As usual, a protective cloth laid over the books within the chest and a pair of gloves are included. MInt copy, the paperbound volume still factory sealed.
