Vollfaksimile des Ms. 15512 im Museo Lazaro Galdiano in Madrid. Nummer 852 von 980 arabisch nummerierten Exemplaren (Gesamtauflage 1050). Zweisprachige Ausgabe in Latein (Faksimile) und Deutsch (Kommentar). Mit 11 ganzseitigen Miniaturen in Farbe und goldgehöht und mit schmalerem Goldrahmen oder opulentem floralem Schmuckrahmen, 15 Zierseiten, ebenfalls mit zumeist opulenten Zierrahmen mit floralen Motiven und stellenweise mit Porträtmedaillons, und einigen prunkvollen primären sowie zahlreichen sekundären und tertiären Initialen in Gold auf Farbgrund. Die zugehörige Lupe liegt bei. Das Zertifikat wurde auf den inneren Kassettenboden montiert. Kommentarband von Claus Weinert unter dem Titel: „Der Boccardino-Codex. Stundenbuch für Lorenzo II. de’Medici und Madeleine de la Tour d’Auvergne. Museo Lazaro Galdiano, Madrid, Ms 15512.“. Kassette leicht berieben, ansonsten sehr gutes Exemplar.

Original leather binding on 3 raised bands with silver-stamped spine fillets, together with the original softcover, housed in the original velvet case. Facsimile of Ms. 15512 in the Museo Lázaro Galdiano, Madrid. Number 852 of 980 Arabic-numbered copies (total edition: 1050). Bilingual edition: facsimile in Latin, commentary in German. With 11 full-page miniatures in color and heightened in gold, framed either with a narrow gold border or an elaborate floral ornamental frame; 15 decorative pages, mostly with opulent ornamental borders featuring floral motifs and occasionally portrait medallions; and several lavish primary as well as numerous secondary and tertiary initials in gold on colored grounds. The accompanying magnifying glass is included. The certificate is mounted on the inner bottom of the case. Commentary volume by Claus Weinert entitled: “The Boccardino Codex. Book of Hours for Lorenzo II de’ Medici and Madeleine de la Tour d’Auvergne. Museo Lázaro Galdiano, Madrid, Ms. 15512.” Case slightly rubbed, otherwise fine copy.
