Altkolorierter Original-Kupferstich des Erzbistums Köln zwischen Wachtendonk im Norden, Haltern im Osten, Windeck im Süden und Schleiden im Westen, von Johannes Michael Gigas, herausgegeben bei Willem Janszoon Blaeu (Amsterdami Guiljelmus Blaeuw excudit) um 1640, Rückseitig Text in Deutsch. Mit Titelkartusche, Meilenzeiger und zahlreichen kleinen Gebietswappen. Kupferstich gerahmt im Holzrahmen mit rückseitigem Sichtfenster. Nicht ausgerahmt. Maße Abbildung/Platte: 38,5 x 49,5 cm. Blattgröße: ca. 49,0 x 60,0 cm. Rahmen: 51,0 x 61,5 cm. Karte wenig fleckig. Noch sehr guter Zustand.
Original hand-colored copper engraving of the Archdiocese of Cologne, depicting the area between Wachtendonk in the north, Haltern in the east, Windeck in the south, and Schleiden in the west, by Johannes Michael Gigas, published by Willem Janszoon Blaeu (Amsterdami Guiljelmus Blaeuw excudit) around 1640. The reverse bears German text. It features a title cartouche, a scale of miles, and numerous small coats of arms representing the region. The copper engraving is framed in a wooden frame with a viewing window on the reverse. Not examined out of the frame. Image/plate dimensions: 38.5 x 49.5 cm. Sheet size: approx. 49.0 x 60.0 cm. Frame dimensions: 51.0 x 61.5 cm. Card with minor stains. Still a very good condition.
