November 1565 in Beveren aan de IJzer, gestorben am 13. Oktober 1629 in Paris. Flämischer Gelehrter und Kupferstecher, königlicher Historiograph und Geograph).

Kolorierter Original-Kupferstich von Petrus Bertius aus dem „Tabularum Geographicum“, herausgegeben bei Jodocus Hondius in Amsterdam 1603. Karte von Burgund mit Chastillon im Norden bis Tolon im Süden. Links unten Titelkartusche (Text: „Burgundiae Ducatus“), oben rechts Meilenzeiger. Fachmännisch gerahmt hinter Glas/Passepartout im teils vergoldetenen Holzrahmen. Maße Abbildung: 8,6 x 12,3 cm. Maße Rahmen: 19,0 x 23,5 cm. Nicht ausgerahmt. Sehr guter Zustand.

Expertly framed behind glass with a mat in a partially gilded wooden frame. Image dimensions: 8.6 x 12.3 cm. Frame dimensions: 19.0 x 23.5 cm. Not examined out of the frame. Very good condition.
