1. Auflage. Mit zahlreichen Abbildungen. Auf Vorsatz mit 4-zeiliger Widmung von Horst Egon Kalinowski in Schwarz an den Düsseldorfer Kunstsammler Willi Kemp: „Für Willi Kemp in freundlicher reicher wertschätzung, mit besten wünschen zum jahreswechsel 1997/1998“. Einband an der Unterkante mit nicht sichtbarem Wasserschaden, Blätter dadurch aber leicht verzogen, Buchblock an den Vorsätzen aufgrund des hohen Gewichtes leicht gelöst. Im Text rote Unterstreichungen von Willi Kemp. Provenienz: Aus der Sammlung Willi Kemp des Düsseldorfer Museums Kunstpalast. Gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar.
First edition. With numerous illustrations. Inscribed in black ink on the front free endpaper by Horst Egon Kalinowski to the Düsseldorf art collector Willi Kemp (four lines): „For Willi Kemp, with warm and deep appreciation, and best wishes for the turn of the year 1997/1998.“ The binding shows signs of water damage along the bottom edge (though not visible); this has caused slight warping of the pages, and the weight of the book has led to the text block becoming slightly detached at the endpapers. There are red underlinings in the text made by Willi Kemp. Provenance: From the Willi Kemp collection at the Museum Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf. A good to very good copy.
